| G.Carol Bomer- "Soli Deo Gloria Studio"- My dear friend Grace Carol Bomer sure lives up to her name. Besides being a premier leader in Christian Art...she walks her talk. Make sure you catch one of her shows. We plan on having Carol give a series of lectures about the foundation of her art. Carol's new studio is in Asheville's River District. She is represented by numerous galleries and has had shows in NYC and taught in China. We are very proud to now represent Carol! Peggy Taylor- President of the WNC Plein Air Painters and a wonderful accomplished painter and instructor. She owns and operates the Willow Wisp Farms Studios & Gallery in Fairview, Rte 74 just south of Cane Creek Road on the way to Chimney Rock- open by appointment. Wendy Whitson- Asheville River District's premier landscape artist! A great friend and fabulous artist! I own TWO (count 'em!) original Wendy Whitson's - thank you very much! Need I say more? Her studio is open Fridays (& many Saturdays) 10-4. Warehouse Studios, 170 Lyman Street, Asheville, NC. Wendy is an artist's- artist. So many of us just wish we could paint landscapes like she does--- do not miss her! Wendy has recently joined The Wells Gallery in Charleston, SC. Kelly Welch- Easily, Kelly could be considered one of the finest artists in Henderson County. Her ability with pastel and oil is inspiring. She offers Plein Air instruction which we highly recommend! She is represented by several galleries in Hendersonville, NC including Wickwire and the prestigious, The Portrait Source. Sarah Sneeden- the "artist's artist" whom we love and admire! I proudly own TWO paintings by Sarah. She is represented by Wickwire where her show, Treasures of DuPont Forest, sold out with her public begging for more! Her generous spirit, her immense talent is awesome! We love you Sarah! Karen White Chambers- One of my favorite art mentors! Artist, Art Instructor, Creator and President of newly formed Appalachian Pastel Society, and very active with several other Art leagues; Art League of Henderson County and Swannanoa Valley Fine Arts League Joan Murphy- What a joy it is to view Joan's work!
